Paddington Central

A new twenty storey hotel will create a new landmark tower adjacent to Paddington Station, West London.

The hotel will make new urban connections at a number of different levels of the city's historic canal, rail and road networks which intersect the area and have created the site's unusual geometry. The form of the new building will begin with a broad base at railway level and be shaped to a more slender profile at upper levels relating to the complex urban and architectural neighbouring conditions.
Its facades will accentuate the figurative character of the building and will be made from faience with reference to the heritage of civic architecture surrounding the railways.
