Rowan Seaford to delivery a lecture at Yacademy, Bologna
Rowan Seaford will deliver a lecture as part of Yacademy's Architecture for Heritage course this Autumn.
Rowan's lecture will address the 'Radicality of Active Conservation,' drawing on projects including the Hill House Box, the Windermere Jetty Museum, and the recently completed Power Hall to address the challenges of working within sensitive historic contexts to develop elegant and long-lasting design solutions for existing buildings.
Further guest lectures will be delivered by Herzog & de Meuron, McCullough Mulvin Architects, Grafton Architects, David Chipperfield Architects, Eduardo Souto De Moura, Studio di Architettura Zermani Associati, and Vector Architects.
Architecture for Heritage will run from 7 September – 13 November. The deadline for applications is 26 June 2026.
