Rowan Seaford shortlisted for the MJ Long Prize for Excellence in Practice

Rowan Seaford, Director at Carmody Groarke, has been shortlisted for the MJ Long Prize for Excellence in Practice, an annual award by The Architectural Review and Architects' Journal recognising the contributions of women and non-binary people in architecture.

Rowan was selected based on the recently completed restoration of Power Hall at the Science and Industry Museum in Manchester as well as her wider body of work, which includes the Stirling Prize shortlisted Windermere Jetty Museum and a major, ongoing student housing development on London's Bankside for the London School of Economics.

The three other shortlisted practitioners are Jennifer Pirie of Henley Halebrown, Natasha Huq of GRAS, and Evelyne Vanhoutte of Sergison Bates.
