Designed by Carmody Groarke in collaboration with ATAMA and heritage architects RE-ST, this major renovation, adaptation and extension transforms an intricate ensemble of fine historic buildings dating from the 16th to the 20th century and introduces a new five-storey wing on the museum’s last vacant plot in the historic heart of Ghent, Belgium.
